We didn’t love the chains binding perinatal professionals to the organization they trained with, whether they aligned with the entire company’s approach after their initial training experience, or not. We didn’t care for the awkward certification process, arbitrary deadlines, the red tape, the corporate feel, the disinterest in feedback, the focus on profit, and the short-sighted vision. We saw other similar industries, such as massage therapy, offering more to their members, for less. We knew that new doulas and perinatal educators were wanting more support after their workshops, especially for how to run a business. We hurt for the professionals that were burning out quickly, being told to work for free or cheap to gain experience, and not being taught how to manage such an unusual lifestyle and take better care of themselves so they can care for their clients longer.

Meet our team! We have poured our hearts and souls into bringing this company to life, and did so in a short amount of time, to quickly meet the wants and needs our students and colleagues.
We will continue to use our combined experience of over 100 years as both perinatal professionals and multi-biz entrepreneurs to provide the best service to our members and the families they serve.
